Cognitive Networks

The need to enable flexible adaptation to the changing requirements of the users and their services is focusing research efforts in the field of cognitive networking. The major concept behind such paradigm is to mimic the cognition cycle of humans inside network devices. Research in this framework is focused on cognitive radios in the case of flexible and agile RF access and cognitive networks in a broad vision.
