Nicola Garau received his Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Trento in 2022. He was a visiting intern at Epic Games, Pittsburgh, PA, and at the National Centre for Computer Animation, Bournemouth University, Poole, U.K. His current research focuses on digital twins for urban modeling and deep learning, with particular application to human pose estimation and behavior analysis.
