Samia Saidane is a Ph. D. student at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science: Industrial Innovation Program, University of Trento, Italy. She did bachelor in industrial Computing and automation systems and master’s in computer science, speciality Intelligent Pervasive Systems. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Network Traffic Data Processing, Anomaly Detection, Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDSs). Currently she is working on network intrusion detection and threat prevention using advanced techniques. She has a good knowledge in Python, MATLAB and C++.
